Bruno Mondadori was created in the years following the Second World War. From 1946 to 1999 it developed initially under the management of Bruno Mondadori and, after his death, of his children Riccardo and Roberta and finally, under the Chairmanship of Roberta, through the Managing Director Roberto Gulli. In 2000 the Publishing House has carried out an editorial fusion with G.B Paravia in Turin which led to the creation of a new company, under the name of Paravia Bruno Mondadori (PBM Editori). In 2006 the Publishing House was incorporated to the Pearson Group. The brand Bruno Mondadori addresses its activities to Lower Secondary School and to Upper Secondary School: in both cases it is among the leading publishers, particularly with regard to the humanistic subjects. A strong care to the cultural and didactic innovation is one of the distinctive features of the brand and of its presence in the school system.
