Chief Constable Bartolomeo Rebaudengo is a quiet man who loves good food and the peaciful landscape of Piemonte, the County of Northern Italy where he comes from.

The old town of Albenga is a small village in the Italian Riviera, a nice place to live and a very quiet place if you are a policeman. But an inexplicable murder shocks rebaudengo and the village community: an old lady is found dead at her house with the door bolted. A character who comes from faraway adds mystery to the plot.

 

Cristina Rava was born in Albenga, near Genoa, in 1958. She lives in the surroundings. Before turning to crime novels, she wrote a couple of collection of short tales. Since then, she has been published by Fratelli Frilli Editori. She loves cooking.
