The University of Torino has always devoted interest and attention to the dialogue between cultures: relations with foreign countries have constantly increased, together with the attention to anybody who is interested in getting to know not only the university, but also the region and the culture in which our Institution operates. In this context, on the initiative of the Rectorial Commission of International Relations, “Torino Università Estate” Committee was set up in 1998, in order to meet the many requests coming from partner universities and foreign citizens interested in learning the Italian language for study or work purposes. Torino Università Estate offers three main courses: “Language and culture in Piedmont” (summer school), “Italian and music” (in September) and “Italian in the Alps” (winter school).
