Parole di Cotone was established as a publishing house in 1990. Its peculiar approach to book publishing sets out from the idea of printing poetry and novels on cotton T-shirts, thus introducing Italian booksellers and the general public to an innovative and unconventional product. It provides the simplest item of clothing as a vehicle of art, taking Oscar Wilde’s comment literally: "Either you are a masterpiece or you wear one". Anyone may wear their favorite author’s quote as a message for himself or others.
