An exhibition at Artelibro sets its sights on the covers of Camilleri’s books.

Artelibro honors Andrea Camilleri, one of Italy’s most popular writers and author of the hit detective series Inspector Montalbano, with Camilleri AT FIRST SIGHT, an exhibition focusing on the covers of his books. Curated by Stefano Salis, the exhibit features over 100 book covers, including over 40 published by Sellerio, his first publisher.

In the States, Camilleri’s books are published by Penguin (www.penguin.com) and Open Road Media (www.openroadmedia.com), and the covers are no less noteworthy.

Camilleri AT FIRST SIGHT opens on September 17 at the International Museum and Library of Music in Bologna, where it will be on view until October 19.
