Two stories running parallel to each other.
In roman type, the story of two kids going into the woods in search of fairies. They find a sleeping one and put it into a glass jar. As soon as the fairy wakes up, it spreads its wings and flies away once the jar is open. The two kids look into each other’s eyes, kiss and go back home.
The day after, they find a blue butterfly in the jar.
In italics the story of the nymph Calliroe, daughter of Teti, monitors the clouds and decides where to plants seeds to bloom. His lover is the giant Crisaore, of sweet hugs.
Calliroe is the fairy awakened by the kids.

Since 2015 he has drawn book covers for BiancaeVolta.

Alessio Di Simone was born in Pescara, Italy, and now lives in Rome with his family. Since he can remember, he has loved books, reading and stories. He also likes stories where the knights fight monsters and the monsters at the end are the good ones.
With Verbavolant Edizioni he published “Il mostro nell’armadio” (2012), “Il mare chiuso” (2013) and “Primavere” (2014), all of which are illustrated by Alessandro Di Sorbo.
