Il Centro, founded in 1986, is one of the eldest language schools in Milan (Northern Italy) located in the Brera district, one of the most charming and artistic neighborhoods of the city, filled with countless cafés, boutiques, galleries, museums. Il Centro, accredited by the Italian Ministry of Education, is one of the first founder schools of the Associazione delle scuole di italiano come lingua seconda (ASILS) as well as a member of the International Education group EDUITALIA. It’s a “EN ISO 9001:2015” certified company for quality and trust of small business and center for Italian language proficiency examinations, known as PLIDA-Progetto Lingua Italiana Dante Alighieri

Courses of Italian language and culture
We offer a variety of courses and schedules at competitive price with no registration fee, at various levels of language proficiency. We also offer face-to-face lessons for small groups and/or individuals, in school, private home, or office as well as online lessons through Skype. Our instructors are native speakers of Italian, with extensive teaching experience and professional knowledge of foreign languages pedagogy. Our classrooms are comfortable and well equipped with interactive boards, designed to host small groups of no more than 10 students per class.
We organize once a week, free activities for all our students with the goal of enhancing their cultural knowledge of the Italian society through direct experience. Our cultural program includes natural excursions, visits to museums, lectures, film nights, several evening activities and aperitivi in various Italian coffee shops.

Italian for Business
Il Centro offers personalized study paths for individual professional and/or academic needs. We organize Italian lessons for specific purposes, such as business, finance, design or fashion, cooking and Italian opera.

Italian Preparation courses at college level
We offer courses specifically designed for foreign students who plan to attend Italian Universities, focused on specific vocabulary, expressions and linguistic structures related to a program or course of the study at College level.

Housing service
Il Centro offers a lodging service and provides accommodations from a pool of previously selected rooms and apartments in Milan, in safe areas of the city, well served with public transportation and near shops, restaurants and grocery stores

Student visa and permit of stay
Our staff will assist you with the VISA application and with any request of study permits in Italy
