Italian Author Giorgio Fontana will discuss his literary journey from his debut novel “Buoni propositi per l’anno nuovo (Good Intentions for the New Year) (Mondadori 2007) to the breakthrough in his literary career with the publication of the novels Per legge superiore (For Higher Law) (Sellerio 2011) awarded with the Racalmare-Leonardo Sciascia, loStraniero and Chianti prizes, and Morte di un uomo felice (Death of a Happy Man) (Sellerio 2014), awarded with the Premio Campiello, which established him as one of the strongest voices in contemporary Italian fiction.
His latest two novels have been published or are forthcoming in translation in 7 foreign countries, including Germany, France, Spain, the Netherlands, Albania, Croatia and Macedonia, with offers in place in other countries, including Poland.
