The US BOOK SHOW 2022 digital fair (www.usbookshow.com), one of the most important North American trade fairs dedicated to publishing, opens today and will end on May 26th.
The US Book Show has replaced BookExpo, a historic trade fair that was held annually in New York by ReedPop, Publishers Weekly and others. The new event is sponsored exclusively by Publishers Weekly magazine (PW) who for the second time, due to the pandemic, has chosen to organize a digital event. Focused on the book trade, the fair highlights the latest releases in scheduled for Fall 2022, attracting a considerable number of booksellers and librarians. PW has adopted the 6Connex digital platform for the trade show, widely used by companies and academic institutes for conferences, courses and webinars.
The Italian Trade Agency, through the Publishing Task Force based in the Chicago office, in
collaboration with the Italian Association of Publishers (AIE), participates in the US Book Show 2022
organizing the Italian collective, Italian Hall, with 16 companies including the following: AG Solutions, Carthusia, CSA Editrice, De Agostini, Golinelli, Graphofeel, Gruppo Albatros, Kaba Edizioni / Al 3 Vie, Paesi Edizioni, Prinp di Salani Dario, Scripta Maneant, Storie Cucite, Tunuè, Ventura Edizioni, Vinciana Editrice, ZOOLibri. The Italian Hall is the only foreign national pavilion present at the fair.
